Music is science: sound waves and acoustics, organization of sound and space. Music is math: printed signs representing vocal or instrumental sound. Music is a language: a written composition, a story. Music is an art form: the structure of the composition puts sound into motion. Music is a feeling, the space between the notes. Music is an experience, setting us apart from others or bringing us together. Music is a social construct, a reflection of our culture and values.
All of these must evolve in synergy. Technological change is happening at an exponential rate; new technologies require new languages. New events generate new experiences and feelings. The more types of music we are exposed to, we broaden our perception of music becomes. We listen, we respond, we share. As music changes, we keep up; we choose to stay relevant.
The following collection is music that is original, timeless, and relevant. This is music that makes our lives matter.
